EVN and its member units implement tasks and programs for digital transformation and development of science, technology, and innovation associated with the production and business activities of EVN and units, bringing practical results, striving to achieve the following main targets by 2030: Constructing and developing a smart and sustainable EVN on the basis of comprehensive digital transformation, strongly developing science and technology, innovation, and widely applying digital technologies in the production and business activities of EVN; Constructing EVN as a leading enterprise in Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation in the power sector; Developing digital infrastructure and digital technology on the principle of "modernity, synchronization, security, safety, efficiency, avoiding waste", maximizing the potential of data; Establishing specialized databases and data centers for the Power industry, which are the basis for supplying artificial intelligence platforms used in analysis problems, calculating optimal operation of power plants, transmission grids and efficient distribution; Ensuring network security, data security and information security in cyberspace of organizations and individuals is a continuous and inseparable requirement in the process of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.

EVN's leaders also emphasized that to implement this work effectively, it is necessary to set clear and specific targets, divide by each field, and deploy synchronously. The development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation is to change the way of operating and managing enterprises to create breakthroughs. Besides, it is necessary to thoroughly understand Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, considering data as a new resource and a new means of production. EVN will combine and inherit the tasks that have been done, avoid wasting resources, and choose platforms that can be shared.
