“Quang Trung Campaign”: Where homes rebuilt, power follows

The "Quang Trung Campaign," efforts to promptly rebuild and repair homes for families affected by recent storms and floods in Central Vietnam, was completed two weeks ahead of schedule. Power was restored as soon as the houses were "reborn" after the disaster, joining the shared joy of the nation and people just before the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Rapid progress from policy to action
The historic natural disaster of successive floods and storms in late October and November 2025 caused exceptionally severe damage to people, property, and homes in many localities. On November 29, 2025, right in the flood-stricken area of Hoa Thinh commune (Dak Lak province), the Government and the Prime Minister launched the Quang Trung Campaign to promptly rebuild and repair houses for affected households. The Prime Minister also issued Official Dispatch No. 234/CD-TTg assigning specific tasks to ministries, sectors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and localities, with the goal of completing the repair of 34,759 damaged houses before December 31, 2025; and rebuilding 1,597 houses that collapsed or were swept away before January 31, 2026. This will create favourable conditions for people to settle down, resume their work, restore production and business activities, and stabilize their livelihoods.
In a serious and decisive manner, following the Prime Minister's directives, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) promptly issued an urgent directive instructing the three Power Corporations in the North, Central, and South to urgently implement tasks to restore electricity infrastructure in nine provinces and cities (Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong) with the spirit of "Where homes rebuilt, power follows" and supporting localities in successfully carrying out the "Quang Trung Campaign".

"Serving people"
During "Quang Trung Campaign," Hue Power Company also donates many electrical appliances to households.
Participating in the successful implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign," EVN and its member units once again demonstrated the high spirit and responsibility of a unit entrusted by the Party and the State with the task of maintaining power supply. Along with power supply, the staff and employees of the power companies also prioritized allocating significant resources to social welfare to support people in storm and flood-affected areas. Power truly "illuminated hope," empowering people to overcome adversity and steadily rebuild their lives.
