On this occasion, the Youth Unions inaugurated the project “Model Road” in Binh Truong 3 Hamlet, Binh Khanh Commune. The project features 25 solar-powered streetlights installed along a local alleyway, providing not only illumination but also enhancing daily life and ensuring public safety for local residents.

Following this, the delegation handed over the “Together for Green Energy” project at Thanh An Primary School. The project features a rooftop solar power system with a capacity of 3kWp, valued at VND 50 million, which contributes to promoting the “green school” model.

In addition, the delegation donated 05 new computer sets to students in difficult circumstances; 25 scholarships and backpacks to academically excellent students; 45 gifts to policy-beneficiary households; and 30 national flags along with 30 gift packages to disadvantaged households and struggling fishermen in Thanh An island commune.

During this event, the delegation also presented multiple gifts to officers and soldiers at the Thanh An Border Guard Station, including 01 desktop computer and 01 printer for administrative work; 150 liters of engine oil to support marine patrol and control tasks; and 15 gift packages for officers and soldiers at the Border Guard Station.

Can Gio District is a coastal area that plays a vital role in the national strategy for safeguarding maritime sovereignty in the southern region.
