Phu Yen Power Company has invested nearly VND 2 billion to electrify households in Tan Dinh Village. The scale of the project is composed of: building nearly 2km of 22kV power lines, 1km of low voltage lines and a 100kVA substation.
People in Tan Dinh Village – the "concave" area of Phu Yen Province - had no access to electricity for 30 years. Recently this village was included in the Grid – Connected Rural Electrification project of Phu Yen province in the period 2015 - 2020, however it had not been done due to the unavailability of the Government’s funding.
In 2018, Phu Yen Power Company has made efforts to mobilize funding resource by themselves to invest in supplying electricity for local people in order to meet their urgent needs. The project has been fully supported by local authorities and people, particularly in land compensation and site clearance activities.
