Through training process, developing human resources and fulfilling the procedures for registration of ASEAN professional engineers, from only the first 5 engineers recognized in 2017, up to now, EVNHCMC has 104 Engineers recognized as ASEAN Professional Engineers.
In 2019 only, 70 engineers of EVNHCMC have been granted with received this certificate, of which 6 were granted the certificate by the AER at the 37th Annual Meeting of ASEAN Federation of Technical Organizations (CAFEO 37) which took place in Indonesia, September 2019.
Mr. Pham Quoc Bao – EVNHCMC’s General Director said that in the past years, the Corporation has been constantly innovating and specializing its training, improving skills, professional competence and foreign language level for its workers, engineers and managers.
The Corporation has also organized intensive training courses in all the key areas in order to develop a team of experts with professional working style who will be the core force for its sustainable development plan. Up to now, the number of experts recognized by the Corporation is 42, including 13 individuals recognized in 2018 and 29 ones recognized in 2019.
the Corporation is about to prioritize and make conditions for skillful workers, ASEAN professional engineers and recognized experts to participate in domestic and foreign professional training programs, seminars, specialized scientific and technological research activities in order to be regularly updated with the necessary knowledge and skills to improve their professional competence.
Both ASEAN engineer registration and expert development are included in EVNHCMC's Project of improving its human resource quality for the period of 2015 - 2020.
