This is a tool to help customers control the amount of used power each day. And every week (frequency of 7 days/time), the System will automatically send sms/email to customers whose power consumption exceeds 30% over the same period of previous month.

Mr. Tran Nguyen Bao An - Deputy Director of Da Nang PC said, the System was tested by the Company from August 2018 and officially operated from the end of 2018. This is a solution to realizing the policy of EVN on the transparency of power meter readings. The system also allows customers to set warning options: Based on the power output or the increase percentage compared with that of the previous month.
In Da Nang City, 100% of customers' meters are electronic, with telemetry systems. At the same time, the Data Center system of Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) has full and timely index data; Properly meeting the needs of output and bill calculations. These are favourable technology platforms for Da Nang PC to deploy the System applications to 100% of customers.
From the success gained in the first deployment model at Da Nang PC, the Central Electricity Corporation is researching and deploying the replication of this system for all the affiliated power companies.
For customers who have not used the system, EVNCPC has and will continue to use CMIS software to proactively monitor and detect cases of power consumption in the month exceeding 30% over the normal rate, at the same time, to notify customers before issuing invoices.
On the national scale, 5 power corporations have proactively inspected and monitored abnormalities of electricity index, electricity bills and were ready to respond to 24/7 customer inquiries via the interactive channel system of 5 Power Customer Care Centers.

Features and utilities of the daily electricity index lookup system, automatic warning of power output:
- Updating the electric meter index 4 times/day, 6-hour measuring interval.
- Displaying the power output consumed during the period, from the first day of the period to the nearest time recorded by system. Temporarily calculating the electricity bill based on the recorded output.
- Creating a chart of comparing the power consumption, the number of electricity use days, compared to the previous two months and the same period last year.
