PECC2 operates remotely for 6 solar power plants with a total capacity of more than 400MW managed by the Company through this Centre.
According to Mr. Vu Viet Dung – Director of the Centre, this Centre not only performs the function of monitoring plants but also allows forecasting the operating status of the plant. Operating engineers are provided with a full range of parameters such as temperature, power generation, the performance of panels, the status of the plant’s equipment, thereby accurately assessing and forecasting the operating status of the plant.
The operators can remotely control, open/close devices, change operating parameters, etc.
PECC2’s remote operating control centre is invested synchronously in technology, advanced operating management software (ANSYS, TrueTech...) and other modern infrastructure facilities.
This is also a pioneering step of PECC2 to offer optimized solutions in the field of operating control for power plants in Vietnam.
