Representing Shandong DOREEN were Mr. Li Tai Yan – Vice President, and Mr. Gai Shuang – Deputy Director of International Markets.

At the meeting, the DOREEN representatives expressed their pleasure in visiting and working with EVN, and conveyed their desire to cooperate in providing advanced equipment and new technologies to serve the energy sector.

Within the framework of the meeting, DOREEN introduced its modern technology ecosystem developed for application in power distribution networks. These technologies have already been proven in China and are currently being promoted in international markets.

EVN Vice President Vo Quang Lam highly appreciated the technological achievements of DOREEN and expressed thanks for the cooperation proposals. Given the rapid development and high penetration of renewable energy sources in Vietnam's power system, he noted that management, monitoring, and control solutions for renewable energy sources, such as those introduced by DOREEN, hold strong potential. EVN hopes that the company will coordinate with power corporations to implement a pilot project involving intelligent IoT switchgear and an integrated solar–storage–charging system to demonstrate practical effectiveness.

According to Mr. Vo Quang Lam, DOREEN's solution for charging stations integrated with substations also has significant potential for application in major urban areas such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

EVN’s leadership expressed a desire for Shandong DOREEN to support further exploration of rooftop solar monitoring and control systems, and to provide additional information to support research and potential expansion of cooperation in other areas, including: smart grid devices, big data collection and analysis, and the application of artificial intelligence in power grid operations.
