During the meeting, Mr. Sun Wenyi presented an overview of Mingyang Group's development, technological capabilities, and integrated clean energy portfolio, including solutions for wind power, solar power, hydrogen, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power grid equipment.

Representatives of the delegation noted that Mingyang Group companies are expanding their presence across Southeast Asia, with Vietnam identified as one of the Group's strategic markets. Mr. Sun expressed the Group's interest in strengthening cooperation with EVN in areas aligned with its technological strengths and business expertise.

Chairman Dang Hoang An noted that Vietnam continues to offer significant opportunities for international energy technology companies, particularly those capable of providing integrated solutions and contributing to the development of the country's energy value chain.

He added that Vietnam is currently implementing the revised National Power Development Plan VIII (PDP VIII). Over the coming years, the country's power system is expected to expand rapidly, with renewable energy accounting for an increasing share of the generation mix to support socio-economic development and accelerate the energy transition. Consequently, investment demand for power transmission infrastructure, smart grids, and energy storage solutions will continue to grow to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the national power system.

The EVN Chairman encouraged Mingyang Group to leverage its strengths in providing comprehensive energy solutions and to explore deeper participation in Vietnam's energy value chain, while ensuring compliance with Vietnamese regulations and alignment with the country's power sector development strategy.

The two sides agreed to maintain regular exchanges and continue exploring cooperation opportunities based on the development needs of Vietnam's power system and the respective strengths of each party.
