The 2026 National Conference Honoring People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution and launching a nationwide campaign to strengthen support for them was organized by the Ministry of Interior in coordination with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Hanoi People's Committee, and Vietnam Television.
The conference was attended by leaders of the Party and State; representatives of central committees, ministries, branches, and mass organizations; and delegates of exemplary individuals who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution from across the country.

At the conference, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung delivered a keynote address and officially launched the nationwide campaign to further strengthen support for people with meritorious services to the revolution.
The Organizing Committee also received donations from corporations, state-owned enterprises, businesses and banks, including EVN.
Over the years, EVN and its member units have carried out a wide range of "Gratitude and Remembrance" activities, including visiting and presenting gifts to wounded and sick veterans and policy beneficiary families, providing lifelong care for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, funding the construction of gratitude houses, and organizing memorial incense-offering ceremonies for fallen heroes.

In addition to supporting people with meritorious services, EVN and its member units have invested substantial resources in building and renovating schools, gratitude houses and Great Solidarity houses, while assisting disadvantaged households and communities affected by natural disasters. In the last two years alone, the total resources EVN and its subsidiaries have dedicated to social welfare projects and programs have reached hundreds of billions of VND.
The VND 20 billion donation once again reflects EVN's strong sense of social responsibility and its enduring commitment to joining hands with government agencies in caring for people with meritorious services to the revolution, promoting "Gratitude and Remembrance" activities, and contributing to sustainable community welfare.
