As part of the peak activities of Youth Month - March 2026, three rural roads (alleys) in Binh Hung commune, Ho Chi Minh City, were recently illuminated with solar-powered lighting systems implemented by the EVNHCMC Youth Union in coordination with the local government.

In response to the peak of Youth Month in March 2026, the EVNHCMC Youth Union, in coordination with the local government, implemented a project to illuminate three rural roads in Binh Hung commune, thereby improving the appearance and ensuring safe travel for residents.

In addition to installing lighting systems, union members renovated and repaired power lines; bundled telecommunications cables; and cleared vegetation along power line corridors, helping ensure the safety of the power grid and urban aesthetics.

According to Phan Hoang Nhan, Secretary of the EVNHCMC Youth Union, the project is part of a series of social welfare activities conducted by young people in the electricity sector during this year's Youth Month. In the coming time, the unit aims to provide free electrical repairs for approximately 150 disadvantaged households, and at the same time, promote awareness and training on safe and economical electricity use at schools and community centers in Ho Chi Minh City.

The project "Model alleyways with safe, aesthetically pleasing, and energy-efficient electrical systems" not only brings light to the streets but also contributes to promoting the use of clean energy in the community. Behind these brightly lit streets is the silent contribution by the youth union members of the electricity sector – those who are spreading the image of friendly, responsible, and supportive EVNHCMC in the City's development.
