Recently, Tra Cu Power Company (Vinh Long Power Company), in coordination with local organizations, police forces, and residents, implemented three rural road lighting projects using solar-powered street lights in Xoai Thum hamlet (Tra Cu commune), Leng hamlet (Tap Son commune), and Tra Sat A hamlet (Long Hiep commune).

Through these efforts, Tra Cu Power Company has joined hands with local authorities in building new-style rural areas, bringing light to rural roads and promoting positive image of power sector among local communities.
The three projects have a combined length of approximately 2,100 meters and include the installation of 63 solar-powered street lights, each with a capacity of 300W. The total cost of materials for the projects is approximately VND 85 million. Specifically, Vinh Long Power Company supported the purchase of 63 solar-powered streetlights; Tra Cu Power Company purchased the lamp towers and coordinated with the Power Company's Youth Union, other organizations, the police force, and residents to participate in the construction and installation.
The illuminated roads are key transport routes that serve the travel, trade, and connectivity needs of local communities. The commissioning of these projects not only helps improve the material and spiritual well-being of residents but also facilitates safer nighttime travel, enhances public security and traffic safety, and contributes to building increasingly modern and prosperous rural communities.
