EVN Vice President Nguyen Dinh Phuoc and representatives of EVN’s relevant departments meet with GE Vernova delegation.

At the meeting, Mr. Uday Mathur introduced the operations of GE Vernova Financial Services, the company’s investment and financing arm, which has extensive experience in supporting the financing of energy and infrastructure projects worldwide.

The GE Vernova delegation expressed its interest in exchanging views and gaining a better understanding of EVN’s financing needs for power and energy infrastructure projects in the coming period.

EVN Vice President Nguyen Dinh Phuoc welcomed GE Vernova’s interest and shared an overview of Vietnam’s investment needs for the development of power generation and grid infrastructure.

He noted that, amid continued growth in electricity demand, EVN is interested in exploring and accessing appropriate and effective financing solutions to support its efforts to ensure a safe, reliable and stable electricity supply for the country’s socio-economic development.

The two sides also discussed opportunities to strengthen the exchange of information and experience in the financing of energy projects, based on their respective functions, responsibilities, and practical needs.
