Upon completion, the transmission line will transmit power from the Bac Lieu LNG power plant and other power plants in Ca Mau province into the national power grid. Along with the Thot Not – Duc Hoa, Duc Hoa – Cau Bong, and Duc Hoa – Phu Lam 500kV lines, the project contributes to strengthening the interregional 500kV transmission network, meeting the N-1 criterion, and improving the stability, reliability, and safety of electricity supply.
The People's Committee of Ca Mau province required EVNNPT to complete all the required procedures and implement the project according to the approved objectives, scale, location, and schedule; while complying with all legal regulations on investment, land, construction, environmental protection, labor, and fire prevention and control.
The departments, agencies, and localities where the project passes through are tasked with guiding and supporting the investor in completing the procedures; and coordinating the inspection and supervision of the implementation process. The People's Committee of Ca Mau province also requested the People's Committee of Can Tho city to coordinate and direct relevant agencies and units to support EVNNPT in ensuring the project is implemented on schedule and in compliance with applicable regulations.
