In her remarks, Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Binh expressed her pleasure in welcoming the delegation from the Korea Labor and Society Institute. “This visit marks a meaningful milestone in strengthening mutual understanding and the exchange of information and experience regarding the organization, role, and participation of trade unions in state management, socio-economic administration, and unit-level governance,” she emphasized.

She also expressed hope that in the future, the two sides will have more opportunities to collaborate and share best practices to improve the quality of trade union activities across all levels.

During the session, both sides introduced an overview of the history and development of their respective trade union organizations. This was followed by active discussions and practical exchanges on pressing labor market issues affecting the electricity sector, such as the shortage of highly skilled young workers amid population aging; employment policies and benefits for workers; and initiatives to support, motivate, and foster team cohesion among employees at the grassroots level.
