Power Generation Corporation 1 donates VND 1 billion to support people affected by floods in Nghe An

On 27 July 2025, Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1) and Ban Ve Hydropower Company visited and provided support to five communes in the western part of Nghe An Province that were severely affected by the circulation of Storm No. 3 (WIPHA), with a support amount of VND 1 billion.

The delegation extended support to five communes — Tam Quang, Tam Thai, Tuong Duong, Luong Minh, and Yen Na - allocating VND 200 million to each. This is the heart of the collective of cadres, employees, and workers throughout the entire Corporation, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual support, and sharing with the community.
At the program, representatives of the commune authorities expressed their appreciation for EVNGENCO1’s strong sense of responsibility and recognized the timely and appropriate support as a clear reflection of the company’s long-term commitment to the local community.
