EVN’s Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr. Kim Jung-Kwan said that Doosan Group is currently promoting the development of technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions such as: developing small modules for nuclear power plants; gas power turbines; ammonia combustion technology for coal power plants; and offshore wind power.
Based on the existing relationship between the two sides, Doosan leaders expressed their desire to continue expanding cooperation with EVN in the field of renewable energy. In particular, the Doosan Group wishes to cooperate in applying ammonia combustion technology to EVN's coal power plants.

Welcoming the delegation, Chairman of EVN’s Board of Directors Dang Hoang An gave an overview of the power source structure and general information about renewable energy development in Vietnam. Aiming at the target of energy transition, EVN is currently looking for technical solutions to reduce emissions for coal power plants. Therefore, EVN welcomes international partners in general and Doosan Group in particular in applying technologies and techniques to EVN's energy transition process. EVN leaders affirmed that Vietnam Electricity and Doosan Group still have much potential for cooperation. In the coming time, EVN will continue to promote and expand the relationship between the two sides in the energy field.
