Chairman cum CEO of EVNCPC Tran Dinh Nhan said: “The Submarine Cable Project connecting the Cham Island to the National Grid is the one with very high technical requirements and of the complicated nature for construction since the submarine cable system is placed at the average depth of 30 meters under the sea surface and equipment as well as materials are mostly imported.
With the experience in successfully implementing the Submarine Cable Project Connecting Ly Son Island to the National Grid (Quang Ngai province), EVNCPC commits to strictly comply with the investment and construction regulations and complete the project as scheduled with good quality.”
The project consists of a 9.529 km of MV overhead line in Hoi An city, 15.48 km of MV submarine cable and 7.8 km of 22 kV line, 6 substations of 900 kVA and 11 km of 0.4kV lines on Cham island.
In addition, on the Cham island, there are other work items invested such as office building, shunt reactors and switching station to serve a stable operation of the submarine cable line.
As planned, the Submarine Cable Project Connecting the Cham Island to the National Grid shall be completed and energized before 30th June 2016.
