According to the forecast by the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from May to July this year, there will be consecutive large-scale heat waves. In particular, the central region from Quang Binh to Phu Yen is also affected by the strong southwest wind, which has increased people's demand for power.
Power companies promote energy-saving propaganda to customers; guide customers to install the EVNCPC customer service App.
Currently, EVNCPC serves the power demand of 4.58 million customers in 13 provinces and cities in the Central - Central Highlands. Up to now, 4,415 million electricity users (accounting for 96.4%) have installed electronic meters, of which nearly 4,326 million electronic meters are installed with telemeters, accounting for 98% of the total number of electronic meters in EVNCPC. There are 100% of customers in 4/13 provinces and cities that have been installed with electronic meters and telemeters, namely Da Nang, Phu Yen, Kon Tum and Khanh Hoa.
EVNCPC deploys the transmission of meter data to the management center with from 4 to 48 cycles/day and effectively exploits the data, providing an effective digital solution for customers to control their daily power consumption.
In addition, to proactively warn customers of a sudden increase in power output, every day, 13 power companies under EVNCPC use the monitoring program for the abnormal increases in output to review it. As long as the customer's power consumption increases abnormally by 30% or more over the same period, Power units will send a warning email to the customer. In cases where the power output is too high, the Power units shall actively discuss and coordinate with the customer to find out the cause and check the customer's electrical system. The Power units also support handling for customers when there is short-circuit, line leakage behind the meter, ensuring electrical safety, reducing power loss for customers.
“24/7, customers can call Central Electricity Customer Care via hotline 19001909 for timely advice and answers to problems about power consumption and electricity bills”, Mr. Tran Van Gia - Head of Sales Department of EVNCPC recommended.
