Promoting the efficiency of digital infrastructure
In the first 5 months of the year, EVNHCMC has ensured a safe, adequate and stable power supply, contributing to the city's economic recovery and development after the COVID-19 pandemic impact. In particular, many targets and plans have been well implemented by EVNHCMC, achieving and surpassing the plan such as business and customer service, power loss, power supply reliability, science and technology application, digital transformation, etc.

The chairman of EVN’s Member Board required EVNHCMC to further promote digital transformation so that the corporation's digital infrastructure not only promotes efficiency in serving the corporation’s power production and business tasks but also brings in revenue.
Ensuring strong financial capacity
According to the report of EVNHCMC, in the first 5 months of the year, the corporation's commercial power output reached 10.8 billion kWh, up 2.41% over the same period and reaching 42.46% of the plan assigned by EVN. It is estimated that in 2022, commercial power output will reach about 26.7 billion kWh, reaching 104.65% of the plan, up 9.5% compared to the implementation in 2021.
The estimated power loss rate in the first 6 months of 2022 is 3.4%, 0.02% lower than the same period. The power supply reliability has made efficiency, in which MAIFI is 0.5 times; SAIFI is 0.28 times and SAIDI is 25 minutes.
The business and customer service continue to be the bright spot in the corporation's operations, with 100% of targets being achieved and surpassed; in which the electronic payment rate is 99.63% in customers, equivalent to 99.39% in money; the percentage of customers installed remote control electronic meters account for 98.24% of the total number of meters on the grid.
Labor productivity by trade reached 2.39 million kWh/labor, up 2.83% over the same period, reaching 52.7% of the plan; labor productivity per customer reached 488 customers/labor, up 2.42% over the same period, reaching 100.6% of the plan’s.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - General Director of EVNHCMC said that in the coming time, the corporation will continue to well-implement the power supply plan to provide safe, stable and continuous power for the city’s demand; in which, develop plans to ensure power supply in case the economy recovers with high growth and extreme weather conditions affecting the system's capacity and power reserve.
At the same time, the corporation also continues to implement solutions to maintain healthy finances, ensuring increasingly strong and transparent financial capacity; implementing business and customer service plans for the 2021-2025 period of EVN and the corporation, ensuring that the targets are met and surpassed; step by step specification the goal of reducing the power loss rate to the level of advanced countries in the region.
