In 2018, Viet Nam Electricity (EVN) maintains its 2nd position in top 500 largest enterprises in Viet Nam (VNR500). Ranked the 1st position in this list is Samsung Electronics Viet Nam Co., Ltd.
Top 10 largest enterprises in Viet Nam 2018
This is the 11th consecutive year that EVN is listed in the top 10 leading enterprises. VNR500 is a study result by Vietnam Report, which is developed on the basis of scientific, independent principles and complying with International standards and verified with data of enterprise in order to ensure the objectivity and accuracy of the ranking.
VNR500 assesses the enterprise ranking based on the basic criteria of total revenue. Additionally, criteria such as profitability, growth rate, labours, assets and media prestige are used as factors, additionally contributing to develop the position being commensurate with large enterprises.
This has been the 12th year of the VNR500 ranking announced to recognize and honor enterprises greatly contributing to the development of the Vietnamese economy.
In VNR500 ranking, in addition to the Parent company - EVN, there are 14 corporations, subsidiaries and joint stock companies under EVN listed in the Top 500 largest enterprises in Viet Nam 2018. In which, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation ranks 27th, Hanoi Power Corporation ranks 38th, Central Power Corporation ranks 42nd.
The Honouring Ceremony for enterprises in VNR500 ranking 2018 is scheduled to be organized on 16 January 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City.
