The leader of Dak Nong Province acknowledged and thanked Viet Nam Electricity for constantly investing in developing power grids during the recent time in order to supply electricity with reliable quality and create a motive force for local socio - economic development.
In 2017, Dak Nong Power Company (PC Dak Nong) met the growing electricity demand at 11.4% over the same period of 2016; with the power sales reaching 466 million kWh. In addition, investments of VND 179 billion in total were implemented to construct, rehabilitate and upgrade power grids.
The company has coordinated with the local authorities to implement "Rural Electrification projects for Dak Nong in the period of 2014 - 2020"; electrifying two un-electrified villages namely Mêra and Bon Bu Ndrong B in Quang Tan commune, Tuy Duc district.

Currently, 100% of communes in Dak Nong have access to the national power grid. In particular, in many remote and isolated areas of the province, despite high investment rate of electrification, Viet Nam Electricity, Central Power Corporation and Dak Nong Power Company as a direct player have made great efforts to bring electricity to local people, contributing to the improvement of lives of ethnic minority people.
The Power Company has actively been involved in social security activities, in cooperation with the local community performed gratitude and thanksgiving programs. The Company has built a significantly prestigious brand name in the community.
The leader of Dak Nong People's Committee proposed that EVN would continue to electrify residential areas and households without access to electricity and maintain their collaboration in supporting local social security programs in the province.

Hydropower reservoirs of Dong Nai 3 and 4 Hydropower Plants (Dong Nai Hydropower Company – Power Generation Corporation No.1) are situated in Dong Nai province. The provincial People's Committee plans to make investment in order to develop tourism by exploiting these reservoirs in the future and create more livelihoods for local people.
At the meeting, EVN’s Vice President - Mr. Nguyen Tai Anh thanked Dak Nong Province for coordinating with and creating favorable conditions for EVN to complete their investment in and construction of power generation and grid projects, as well as rural electrification projects in remote and isolated areas.
EVN’s Vice President affirmed that in the coming time EVN would direct its relevant member organizations to secure electricity supply in Dak Nong province, at the same time actively cooperate with the local authorities to well perform social security activities.
