Taking place on 8-9 June, the festival program includes two main activities: Competition of Innovative and creative Ideas in Human Resource Development and Workshop on Innovation in Human Resources Training and Development.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Viet Anh - Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of EVN said that the EVN development strategy approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 538/QD-TTg has set the goal: "Developing the Vietnam Electricity Group into a strong economic group, doing sustainable, efficient and profitable business; having a high level of technology, modern management and specialization; closely linking production, doing business with science, technology, research and implementation, training; as the core for Vietnam's electricity sector to develop quickly, sustainably, compete and integrate into the international economy effectively". To achieve this goal, EVN needs a dynamic, creative, highly qualified team who master technology, are able to adapt quickly and are good at foreign languages to be ready for effective international economic integration.

EVN can coordinate with external partners, institutes, universities and other businesses to solve the problem of improving the quality of human resources for EVN.
In the coming time, the Organization and Personnel Department will launch the movement "Never stop learning for successful digital transformation", with the goal of contributing to making EVN become a strong-culture digital enterprise by 2025; promote the learning movement of staff and employees throughout EVN through the E-learning system. The Organization and Personnel Department of EVN will develop and implement the initiative "EVN leaders and the culture of study and innovation", focusing on learning for development in the digital age from the group's leaders.
Also within the opening ceremony of the festival on 8 June 2022, the semi-final round of the Innovation Competition in Human Resource Development of EVN took place, with the competition by 10 teams from different companies: Central Power Corporation (2 teams); Northern Power Information Technology Company, Lang Son Power Company (Northern Power Corporation); Hanoi City Power Corporation. Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation; Se San Hydropower Development Joint Stock Company; Son La Hydropower Company; Thac Mo Hydropower Joint Stock Company (Power Generation Corporation 2); Power Transmission Company No. 1 (National Power Transmission Corporation).
In the semi-finals, 10 teams will be divided into 5 pairs of direct confrontation to select the best 5 teams to enter the final round (taking place on the afternoon of 9 June).
