Mr. Vo Quang Lam - Deputy General Director of EVN shared about EVN's journey to promote gender equality
Currently, EVN has a total of more than 97,000 employees; of which, women accounted for 21%, focusing mainly in the fields of business, finance and accounting, human resources, communication, and offices. Over the years, female employees have made many important contributions to the production and business activities of EVN as well as its member units.
In particular, currently, female employees holding managerial positions in the whole EVN have accounted for 12.92% of the total number of management leaders, 0.92% higher than the plan. In the 2021-2025 period, EVN strives to increase the percentage of female employees by at least 2%, especially in technical positions; while increasing the participation of women in management positions.
To achieve this goal, EVN will synchronously implement solutions, create opportunities for female employees to contribute more to activities, and be able to "compete" for positions in the technical field. In addition, EVN develops training policies and flexible working schedules, and creates conditions for female employees to participate in professional and management training courses,...
