According to Mr. Trinh Tuan Son, these are very important transmission projects to ensure power supply for Dong Nai province, including Long Thanh international airport (under construction) as well as to meet the power demand for socio-economic development of Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.
The delegation gave gifts to encourage construction forces at An Phuoc 220kV substation
All three projects are invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and managed and operated by SPMB on behalf of the investor. In which:
Tam Phuoc 220kV substation project (located in Phuoc Tan ward, Bien Hoa city) includes 02 220kV transformers with a total capacity of 500MVA. This project was built to ensure power supply for Bien Hoa City in particular and Dong Nai province in general; reduce the load for the existing Long Thanh, Long Binh 220kV and Song May 500/220kV substations. As planned, the project shall be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022.
An Phuoc 220kV substation project (located in Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts) includes 02 200kV transformers with a total capacity of 500MVA. After the project is completed, it will ensure power supply for Long Thanh district in particular and Dong Nai province in general, reducing the load for existing Long Thanh and Long Binh 220kV stations. The project is expected to be completed in June 2022.
Long Thanh 500kV substation project (located in Loc An commune, Long Thanh district) is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year. The scale of the project includes 02 500kV transformers with a total capacity of 900MVA, building 2 lines of 4 circuits with a total length of about 16 km. The project is invested to ensure power supply for Dong Nai province, part of Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. At the same time, reduce the load on Song May, Nha Be and Tan Uyen 500kV stations and existing lines in the locality. The Long Thanh 500kV station also contributes to releasing the capacity of Nhon Trach 3 Thermal Power Plant.
