To implement the program "one million initiatives", on 14 February 2022, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union issued Plan No. 97/KH-CĐĐVN to launch the program extensively and intensively in all member organizations and employees of EVN. Through the program, the Union wishes to promote initiative and creative movement in order to create motivation for EVN and its member organizations to overcome difficulties, well perform the dual goal of ensuring electricity for socio-economic development and people's life; completing the digital transformation roadmap in the Vietnam National Electricity Group.

By the end of May 31, at the end of phase 1, 2,399 initiatives of union members and employees in EVN have been successfully registered to the program "one million initiatives" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, thereby fulfilling the planned targets. Many member organizations have actively participated with many good initiatives, bringing high efficiency in production and business activities such as the Trade Union of Hanoi Power Corporation with 363/223 initiatives, reaching 163% of the plan; Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation with 344/202 initiatives, reaching 170%; Trade Union of Power Generation Corporation No.1 with 203/108, reaching 187%; Trade Union of the National Power Transmission Corporation with 272/213 initiatives, reaching 128%, etc.
Among the initiatives in the program, there are some outstanding ones such as: "Specialized intelligent distribution transformer in underground power grid up to 35kV" by Master Nguyen The Vinh - Business Department, Vietnam Electricity Headquarters; “Using Zoom software during incident handling” by Engineer Tran Xuan Huan - Director of Phong Tho Power Department, Lai Chau Power Company; "Building parameter calibration board for circuit breaker protection in low voltage power grid" by Engineer Le Hoai Son - an expert in Technical Department, Da Nang Electricity One Member Limited Liability Company; especially the initiative "Hanging pulleys on conductors on the span between tower 2 – 3 of Duyen Hai - My Tho 500kV transmission lines" of Engineer Nguyen Van Tuan, Deputy Director of Western Region Power Transmission Department 2 with the economic benefit of VND 19 billion, etc.
