EVN presents 100 gifts for studious poor students in Tra Vinh province

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity Sector Traditional Day (21/12/2954 – 21/12/2019), on 6 December 2019, the leaders of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) organized to present 100 gifts, including notebooks and bags for students in Da Loc Secondary School, Da Loc commune, Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province.

Each gift includes 20 notebooks and a school bag, equivalent to VND 300,000/gift with the total value of VND 30 million. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Duc – General Director of EVNSPC said that although the material value of each gift presented to studious poor students is not much, it is a meaningful moral value, supporting and encouraging them to strive and achieve good results in their learning.

Mr. Nguyen Hai – Deputy Principal of Da Loc Secondary School - shared that there are currently 584 students in my school, more than 50% of them are Khmer ethnic students, of which 50% belonging to poor household. Thus, the gifts presented to them by from Electricity sector will be an great encouragement for them to better perform their study.
