After 45 years of construction and development, up to now, Central Power Corporation has made a great progress, the maximum capacity of the whole Central - Central Highlands power system has increased 42 times compared to that of the first day (3,172 MW/75.4MW); the line of voltage levels increased nearly 100 times; commercial power output increased more than 200 times (20 billion kWh/100 million kWh).
Up to now, in the region of 13 provinces and cities in the Central region - the Central Highlands, 100% of on-land communes, 99.71% of rural and mountainous households have been using electricity from the grid, which is higher than the average proportion of the whole country (99.52% of rural households have accessed to electricity)).
Projects of power supply to island districts and island communes invested by the Central Power Corporation have also been completed, contributing to the economic development of the island, protecting the sovereignty of sea and islands of the country.

EVNCPC is the first of 5 Power Corporations to officially launch electronic services for 100% of member power companies from 14 October 2019, applying digital signatures in all electricity services for businesses, and OTP authentication for individual customers. At the same time, the level of grid automation is getting higher and higher, with 100% of unmanned substations; 100% of power companies have SCADA systems and remote control and manipulation centers; 81.7% of medium-voltage switches are controlled remotely; 91.22% of customers install electronic meters.
The Corporation also has facilities producing electronic meters, software for telemetry technology, and IT services, etc.

In customer service, EVNCPC has made many significant improvements in service quality and processing time. The operation of the Customer Care Center has created a 2-way multimedia communication channel, which is very convenient for customers. The Corporation has also widely applied e-invoices, diversified forms of collection through banks, and so on.
Besides, EVNCPC has always well implemented social policies. The total amount of money involved in social work of the whole Corporation is about VND10 billion each year. In particular, in 2019 and 2020, the Corporation has donated 135 houses of gratitude to 13 provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highlands regions; Installed and donated rooftop solar power systems to 8 schools in Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces. At the same time; the Corporation has actively contributed to supporting Da Nang City and localities to prevent COVID-19 pandemic, etc.
In 2020, under the great impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, EVNCPC has made efforts to both ensure power supply to serve the needs of production and daily life of the people, while supplying power quickly and promptly for hospitals, segregated areas, field hospitals…

EVNCPC was honored to be awarded the First Class Labour Medal by the State President for its exceptionally excellent performance in the implementation of economic and technical indicators, saving power, ensuring power supply, safety and continuity in the regions of central coastal provinces and cities, Central Highlands.
On this occasion, the Corporation also had 6 individuals awarded the Labour Medal of Second Class, 2 individuals awarded the Third Class Labour Medal; 02 collectives and 03 individuals awarded Prime Minister’s Certificates of Merit.
