EVNCPC leads in the application of IT in the Group's business and customer services

Video conferencing on the deployment of business missions and customer service 2020 of Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) took place on 12 March 2020. The main online conference station is set up in Da Nang, which is connected to the headquarters of Vietnam Electricity in Hanoi and power/utility companies under EVNCPC in the Central region - Central Highlands.

Speaking at the conference, EVN Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam praised EVNCPC in fully and excellently completing the tasks and targets assigned by the Group in 2019, even realize many targets one year ahead of the 2016-2020 period plan.

The Group's leaders recognized that EVNCPC is leading in EVN’s corporations in the field of IT application and required EVNCPC to continue promoting digital strength. The application of IT should be deployed in the direction of optimizing costs, maximizing benefits, improving customer experience according to the criteria of "Customer-centered".

Emphasizing on the advantage of solar radiation area in EVNCPC's area of ​​electricity management, EVN Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam asked the corporation to continue encouraging the development of rooftop solar power. In particular, it is necessary to consider rapidly scaling up the car charging technology using rooftop solar energy. EVNCPC is the first unit in the whole country to master this technology of manufacturing charging stations.

For power saving - one of the key tasks, EVNCPC needs to propagate and implement power-saving solutions, especially in the fields of lighting, administrative, industry, etc.

In the context of complicated COVID-19 pandemic, EVN leaders shared with EVNCPC about the risks and difficulties in collecting electricity charges, implementing the average electricity price and revenue. EVN Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam asked the corporation to proactively deal with the pandemic, ensuring the goal of power production and business activities.

EVNCPC's General Director Ngo Tan Cu said that in 13 provinces of Central - Central Highland region, EVNCPC has ensured power to be supplied in increasingly stable quality.

Specifically, in 2019, the Corporation's commercial power output reached 19.3 billion kWh, reaching 100.8% of the plan assigned by EVN, an increase of 9.93% compared to the performance in 2018.

EVNCPC has sucessfully implemented a reduction in power loss. In 2019, the loss rate will be 4.67%, 0.45% lower than the same period in 2018, one year ahead of the schedule assigned by EVN until 2020.

The reliability of power  supply continues to improve, in 2019, the SAIDI index (the System Average Interruption Duration Index), reaching 284.84 minutes, decreasing by 588 minutes compared to 2018’s. This is also the target that EVNCPC completed one year ahead of the 2016-2020 plan.

EVNCPC is the first of five power corporations to successfully implement the electronic services at all its member power companies from October 2019. EVNCPC has implemented the "one-stop-shop" and "one-stop-shop" to help customers to easily access and participate in electrical services.

EVNCPC's non-cash payment of electricity bill continued to be well implemented. Customer consultancy and care are effectively implemented through Customer Care Center, by multiple channels: call center, Zalo, Facebook, webchat, email, etc.

Accompanying with customers, EVNCPC has implemented solutions to propagate, consult in power saving, supporting to develop rooftop solar power. In 2019, the whole corporation encouraged 3,936 customers to install the system with a total capacity of 94.44MWp, nearly doubling the target assigned by EVN.

EVNCPC's efforts in innovating, improving power quality and electrical services has been recognized by customers. All power companies in 13 provinces and cities were evaluated by customers for satisfaction with the rate of above 8 points. The whole corporation achieved 8.21 points of satisfaction evaluation, an increase of 0.2 points over 2018’s; realizing the task earlier than the schedule assigned by EVN to 2020.

A business target of EVNCPC in 2020:

- Commercial power: 20.8 billion Wh, increasing by 7.96% over 2019’s.

- Power loss: ≤ 4.7%.

- Access to electricity: Processing time <5 working days

- Customer satisfaction rating over 8.21 points.

- The percentage of customers transacting 12 electricity supply services through Customer Care Centers and public administrative centers / National Public Service Port reaching 75%.

- Non-cash payment ≥ 50%, non-cash payment revenue ≥ 85%.
