Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh: The first thing can be mentioned on the direct effects from a number of digital transformation products and solutions to be applied in the management, production and business activities of Power Generation Corporation 1.

Specifically, the corporation has completed the database of Project Management Information System (PMIS), digitized equipment operating processes, gradually creating a uniform database system, which is stored and managed in a scientific way. This data source can be exploited for many different functions such as RCM repair and maintenance, providing operating information, managing Im/Ex-work materials and equipment by QR code, etc. At the same time, this database creates a foundation for EVNGENCO 1 to apply more advanced maintenance - repair solutions, equipment breakdown investigation, management/operation in the near future.
The member units of the corporation have applied the D-Office. The Corporation has initially implemented the EVNGENCO 1 Portal system, allowing the computerization of office utilities (registration of leave, stationery, vehicle registration, etc.). We have completed the construction of the management software to monitor production and business activities at EVNGENCO 1 on a mobile platform (App EVNGENCO 1), the application of Ship Dispatch Management and automatic planning of ship regulation (at Duyen Hai Power Center), and so on.

Reporter: Can you tell us what is the roadmap and next steps of Power Generation Corporation 1 in digital transformation?
Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh: In 2021, right after the Digital Transformation Project of the Electricity of Vietnam and Power Generation Corporation 1 had been issued, Power Generation Corporation 1 planned and immediately started implementing practical and feasible digital transformation solutions for the corporation. To go further and longer on its development path, EVNGENCO 1 needs to cooperate with experienced partners. After having researched, the corporation realized that FPT JSC. is a perfectly suitable partner and together signed a strategic cooperation agreement on digital transformation in December 2021. According to the agreement, FPT JSC. supports EVNGENCO 1 in developing a roadmap of digital transformation and a roadmap of modernizing EVNGENCO 1's information technology, IT and OT security infrastructure for the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030. This digital transformation roadmap is built in sync with the general production and business strategy of the corporation, focusing on 4 key goals: operating the power plant; optimizing asset management; improving governance capacity, and developing the capacity of the digital workforce.

As a member unit of EVN, the corporation has always received the help and support of EVN, thereby achieving outstanding results in digital transformation. In the coming time, the corporation wishes EVN to develop a long-term development orientation for shared software in EVN, the corporation wants to have a direction, so that the corporations have plans to proactively exploit data or develop more data-exploiting applications suitable for their own needs and have policies and guidelines for the corporations to proactively invest in and build information technology products from 3rd parties.
