Representatives of EVNGENCO 3 donated 90 water tanks with the total value of VND160 million to disadvantaged people in Dam Doi district, Ca Mau province
The total value of EVNGENCO 3 gift is VND160 million. These 1,000-liter tanks will help people overcome difficulties in the current dry, drought season and saltwater intrusion.
At the awarding ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Doan - Chairman of VFFC of Dam Doi district expressed his appreciation and sincere thanks to Power Generation Corporation 3 for its timely assistance to disadvantaged households in the area in storing freshwater for living in the dry season.
At the same time, the representative of the district VFFC wishes to continue receiving the concern and assistance of EVNGENCO 3 on the implementation of social activities in the locality in the future.
In addition to the donation of water tanks, EVNGENCO 3 also financed VND 130 million to build 5 water storage systems for 5 school sites in Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau province. It is expected that the works will be put into use in early June 2020.
