EVN President and CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan holds talks with Lithuanian Ambassador to Singapore Accredited to Vietnam Darius Gaidys

During the meeting, President and CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan congratulated Ambassador Darius Gaidys on the successful completion of his diplomatic tenure and highly appreciated the Ambassador’s interest and support in fostering connections between EVN and Lithuanian partners over the past period.

EVN’s leader noted that, as Vietnam accelerates its energy transition, power infrastructure development, and energy security enhancement, EVN attaches great importance to exchanging experiences with capable and experienced international partners in the energy sector. Lithuania’s practical experience in developing energy infrastructure, modernizing power grids, and strengthening system interconnections represents areas of strong interest to EVN and may serve as valuable references for the ongoing development of Vietnam’s power system.

Ambassador Darius Gaidys expressed his gratitude to EVN’s leadership for the warm reception and reaffirmed his wish to continue promoting cooperation between Lithuanian enterprises and EVN in mutually beneficial areas. He highlighted Lithuania’s hands-on experience in liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure development and power system modernization as potential areas for collaboration.

President and CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed EVN’s readiness to maintain information exchange, facilitate technical focal points, and create favorable conditions for both sides to further explore cooperation opportunities. He also expressed EVN’s hope to continue receiving the Ambassador’s support, as well as that of relevant Lithuanian authorities, in connecting businesses and experts, thereby promoting practical cooperation aligned with sustainable energy development orientations.
