Dong Soc 110kV T2 transformer installation project is invested by EVNNPC with a total investment of more than VND 37 billion. The project commenced in January 2024 and energized on March 3, 2024.
The 110kV T2 transformer installation project with a capacity of 63MVA completes the remote collection, measurement, monitoring, and control system, allowing connection and exchange of communication protocols with the Regional Remote Control Center, ensuring the substation is put into operation in remote control mode; And install 22kV line cabinets to connect to the regional power grid.
After energizing and putting it into operation, the project will contribute to improving power supply reliability and meeting the load growth demand in Dong Soc Industrial Park, Vinh Tuong district, and surrounding areas. The project is also consistent with the Power Development Plan of Vinh Phuc province for the 2016-2025 period with a view to 2035; The 110kV power system development plan has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and is suitable with the adjusting and supplementing of the power development plan of Vinh Phuc province.

The energizing and putting into operation of Dong Soc 110kV T2 transformer installation project will contribute to ensuring a stable and reliable power supply for Dong Soc Industrial Park, Vinh Tuong district, and surrounding areas; At the same time, it also ensures a stable power supply to serve the socio-economic development of the people in the area. On the same day, the Youth Union of the Northern Power Grid Project Management Board in coordination with the Youth Union of Vinh Phuc Power Company carried out a tree planting program at Tam Duong 110kV Substation, Vinh Phuc to achieve the goal of planting new and taking care of 100,000 trees in EVNNPC territory in the 2021 – 2025 period. This activity also contributes to raising awareness among union members and workers about the role and meaning of planting trees, protecting the ecological environment, contributing to reducing natural disasters, and responding to climate change.
