The project of Quang Tri 500kV substation and the line connecting Quang Tri - Vung Ang - Da Nang branching was assigned by Vietnam Electricity (EVN) to EVNNPT as the investor, CPMB shall manage the project on behalf of EVNNPT. The project has a total investment of VND 965 billion.
This is an urgent power project in the National Power Development Plan with the goal of ensuring power supply for regional loads; releasing the capacity of power plants in the region into the national grid system; improving reliability and safety of power supply to the regional power grid.
Delegates performing the ceremony of project construction implementation
The 500kV substation includes 2 500kV - 2x(3x300) MVA transformers installed outdoors, in the first phase, 01 (3x300) MVA transformer is installed first.
The 500kV line connecting the Quang Tri 500kV substation is connected in and out on the existing Da Nang - Ha Tinh and Da Nang - Vung Ang 500kV lines, including branch A of about 3.1 km long and branch B of about 2.8 km long.
The 220kV line connecting the Quang Tri 500kV substation is connected in and out on the 220kV Dong Ha - Hue line and the existing Dong Ha - Phong Dien line, including branch A of about 3.2 km long and branch B of about 2.9 km long.
Speaking at the construction implementation ceremony, Member of EVNNPT’s Board of Directors Vo Hoai Nam requested CPMB to focus on management and administration, closely monitor quality, and coordinate well with local authorities during the construction process for the project to be completed on schedule and strictly complied with legal regulations. Contractors arranged adequate manpower, materials, vehicles, machinery and equipment on the construction site, taking advantage of favorable weather to speed up the project's progress.
