Power transmission ensures safety, investment in construction basically meets schedule
In 2021, EVNNPT has operated a safe, continuous and stable power transmission system, contributing with EVN to ensure sufficient power supply for the country's socio-economic development and people's daily life with the power transmission output reaching 200.86 billion kWh.
All failure rate targets in 2021 are lower than planned, the number of transmission grid failures in 2021 is down 36.5% compared to 2020.

EVNNPT has commenced 42 projects, energized 43 projects as planned. Among the commenced projects in 2021, there are especially important projects such as Van Phong 500kV substation, Van Phong - Vinh Tan 500kV transmission line, etc. serving to release the capacity of BOT, energy renewable, hydropower sources, etc.
EVNNPT completed the pre-tax profit plan assigned by the EVN, the financial targets were basically ensured.
During the year, 5 220kV substations were converted according to the unmanned criterion, achieving 100% of the plan; increasing the total number of unmanned substations to 107/137 220kV substations.
Regarding the application of Industry 4.0 achievements and implementing the theme of 2021 on digital transformation, EVNNPT has successfully deployed the first digital substation in Vietnam (Thuy Nguyen 220kV substation) and energized the first substation project that applied the BIM construction information model (Krong Ana 220kV substation), completed updating equipment data on PMIS software and implemented repair and maintenance procedures according to CBM for transformers and circuit breakers, actively implemented substation integrated control systems of famous manufacturers such as SIEMENS, ABB, etc.

Promote the application of science and technology in activities
In 2022, the Corporation drastically and vigorously deployed the annual theme "Safe, flexible and effective adaptation" with the goal of safety for people and equipment; flexibility in construction, plan implementation, operation management and efficiency in production, business and construction investment.

Continuing to promote the application of science and technology in production, business activities and construction investment is a key task of EVNNPT. In which, it is necessary to widely apply scientific and technological advances to operation management in power transmission; strive to achieve the goal of remote control and unmanned operation for 100% of 220kV substations in the period 2025-2030 and maintain the position in the Top 3 power transmission companies in the ASEAN region in the period of 2022 – 2025.

Some targets in 2022 of EVNNPT:
- Power transmission output is about 205.4 billion kWh;
- The power loss rate on the transmission grid is 2.3%.
- No incidents due to subjective reasons, all failure rate targets are lower than the planned targets assigned by EVN.
- To perform well in the safety work fields, there are no serious occupational accidents and fatal accidents.
- Commencement of 43 projects; Completing and putting into operation 71 projects;
- Preserving and developing capital; improving production and business efficiency, strive for profitable business according to the plan assigned by EVN.
