Overfulfilling the tasks
CMSC Chairman Nguyen Hoang Anh speaking at the conference
Some major goals are set by CMSC leaders for EVNNPT by 2025 such as completing N-1 criterion for 220kV power grid, ensuring N-2 criteria for important load regions; 100% of 220kV transformer stations have to be fixed remote control systems and operated in unmanned mode; EVNNPT has become one of the power transmission organizations of the 10 leading countries in Asia, and so on.
Chairman of EVN's Member Board Duong Quang Thanh awarding the Group's Emulation Flag to two excellent units under EVNNPT
Mr. Pham Le Phu - General Director of EVNNPT making report at the conference, in 2020, EVNNPT has operated a safe, continuous and stable transmission power system, together with EVN ensured sufficient power supply for socio-economic development of the country and people's lives, with the transmitted power output of 203.85 billion kWh, an increase of 2% compared to that of 2019.
In the context that the construction investment continues to face many difficulties and problems, EVNNPT has attempted to overcome and implement the investment value of nearly VND19,600 billion, reaching 105.6% of the plan assigned by the Group. During the year, EVNNPT started 39 projects, energizing 38 projects. In energizing projects in 2020, many projects play a very important role, serving to release the capacity of BOT and renewable energy sources, etc.

Accelerating digital transformation in 2021
Implementing the 2021 theme of EVN, EVNNPT chooses the annual theme "Digital transformation in the National Power Transmission Corporation" with the aim of continuing to promote the roadmap for applying science and technology in EVNNPT's activities; integrating technology and governance model in line with the process of applying digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to EVNNPT's production and business activities.
To achieve the above goal, EVNNPT focuses on completing projects and component projects of the Project of Strengthening Access to Industrial Revolution 4.0 at EVNNPT, and EVNNPT's Smart Grid Project; promoting the application of Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), surveillance cameras and AI in the management, repair, maintenance, and operation of transmission lines and substations; continuing to promote the conversion to unmanned substations as per the assigned plan; researching and enhancing the application of monitoring solutions and online monitoring of the operation status of main equipment on the grid in real time, and so on.
Chairman of EVNNPT Member Board - Nguyen Tuan Tung awarding EVNNPT Emulation Flags to collectives that successfully completed tasks in 2020
Some main planned targets of EVNNPT in 2021:
- Transmitted power output is about 213.4 billion kWh, an increase of 4.7% compared to the performance in 2020.
- Rate of power loss on the transmission grid is 2.23%.
- No failure caused by subjective reasons, all the failure indicators were lower than the planned targets as assigned by the Group.
