Ba Nanh 110kV substation has a total investment of VND 66 billion, with the scale of building two new transformers with the capacity of 63MVA each (in the first phase, installation of one transformer); building 110kV, 22kV side bays, etc.
The work installs a SCADA system for supervisory control and data acquisition as required of the Southern Power System Dispatch Center; installs surveillance camera system; equips fire prevention and fighting systems, etc., meeting the criteria of an unmanned substation.

After completion, the project will ensure power supply for Long Son petrochemical area, contributing to improving power quality, reducing power loss of 110kV grid, reducing the load for Thi Vai 110kV substation, etc.
This is a key project serving the socio-economic development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, especially the Southern petrochemical complex, Long Son industrial gas production plant. The project also serves the power demand of the people of Long Son island commune and surrounding areas.
