Over the past years, Hyundai has participated, as a contractor, in developing a number of source projects in Vietnam, including Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant (1,080MW) of EVN.
Mr. Jin Haeng Chung expressed his pleasure at the good cooperation between the two Groups in the process of constructing the Plant. At the same time, he expressed his desire for further cooperation with EVN in developing power projects in the coming time.
The leader of Hyundai Group said that Hyundai was willing to share and exchange experiences and techniques related to constructing power plants, gas storage systems for power generation, as well as other modern technologies that EVN cares about.
It can be said that there are many great opportunities for partners to invest in field of power in Vietnam, currently. In order to meet the growth rate of about 10% - 11% per year in electric power, Vietnam encourages the development of power source projects, particularly gas-fired thermal and renewable energy power plants.
