Mr. Kim Bong Jun, Deputy General Director of Doosan Corporation, expressed his desire to receive attention and create opportunities for cooperation in the Quang Trach 2 LNG Gas Power Plant project (1200MW) and other renewable energy projects of EVN in the future.

At the meeting, EVN’s President and CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan thanked Doosan Corporation for its many positive activities and effective implementation of many important cooperation projects with EVN.
Regarding the proposal for cooperation in the Quang Trach 2 LNG Gas Power Plant project (1200MW), the EVN leader said that EVN is currently submitting to the People's Committee of Quang Binh province to adjust investment policies due to converting fuel from coal to LNG gas. Regarding cooperation opportunities, Doosan can participate in bidding for the main bidding packages of the project after EVN completes regulatory approval procedures.
With the target of implementing the Net Zero commitment by 2050, Vietnam Electricity is making efforts to implement energy transition projects and solutions and develop green energy sources. Therefore, EVN wants Doosan Corporation to actively share experiences in applying technologies and techniques to the energy transition process, especially ammonia combustion and mixing technology through technical conferences, share experiences, or field visits to plants applying Doosan's ammonia combustion and mixing technology.
