Attending the program were Mr. Hoang Thanh Liem - Member of the Standing Committee of the Sector Party Committee, Member of the Executive Committee of the Sector Party Committee, Director of the Political Training Center of the Sector Party Committee; Mr. Tran Hoai Minh - Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union's International Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Quynh, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Business Sector.
Representatives of EVN’s Youth Union were Mr. Duong Thai Anh - Secretary of EVN Youth Union; Mr. Pham Xuan Minh Tri - Deputy Secretary of EVN Youth Union, and youth union members of the Central Youth Union's International Committee, the Sector Party Committee, the Youth Unions of EVN and Hoa Binh Hydropower Company.
The project "Lighting up country roads" was installed for To Voi and Group 6 in Thai Binh ward (Hoa Binh city), including 8 light posts on a 2km long road.
According to Mr. Duong Thai Anh, the program "Lighting up country roads" is one of the youth activities being attached importance to by EVN’s Youth. The program thereby contributes to maintaining security and order in residential areas, giving comfort and creating security to local residents in production and economic development activities, building a civilized and modern lifestyle. In many areas, electric lights are lit along the roads in the neighborhood, making people's lives more convenient and minimizing traffic accidents at night. The project is also an opportunity for each union member and youth to demonstrate the youth's sense of responsibility towards the community.
On the same day, the delegation visited and gave gifts to young workers of the Project Management Board and construction contractors at the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant Extension project site; visiting young workers directly operating Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant.
Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant Extension Project is an industrial project of group A, with a total installed capacity of 480MW, including 2 power units. The 480MW capacity expansion will increase the total installed capacity of Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant to 2,400MW. Currently, the entire construction site has been unceasingly working in 3 shifts, 4 crews with the goal of putting 2 extension units into operation by the end of this year.
