At recently-issued Document No. 958/EVN-QHCD, EVN also requested leaders of its affiliated units to coordinate with their Trade Unions to launch, propagate and mobilize all staffs and employees to actively participate in and be self-aware of turning off unnecessary lights and electric equipment at their unit headquarters and homes during the main event of Earth Hour 2019, which is from 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm on Saturday 30th March 2019.

The Group also requests power corporations to direct their power companies/units to organize implementing such propaganda activities for economical and efficient use of power in association with response to the Earth Hour campaign 2019 as: Propaganda on website; print and distribute leaflets for power saving; stick posters at transaction locations, headquarters of power units, agencies, organizations, enterprises, schools and public areas; coordinate with the Departments of Industry and Trade of provinces/cities to hang banners for Earth Hour 2019 in major streets in the localities.
Hanoi City Power Corporation cooperates with relevant units to properly prepare and ensure power for the main event of the Campaign, and not to affect the power supply for other activities of customers in the locality, etc.
EVN’s Youth Union cooperates with the Central Committee of Vietnam Youth Union and the Youth Unions of Central Enterprise block, power corporations to organize propaganda programs on power saving to respond to the Earth Hour campaign, etc.
