110kV Long Binh An substation and line are deployed under Tuyen Quang province's approved power development planning, supplying power for Long Binh An industrial zone and for neighbouring companies such as Chemical Engineering 13 one-member Co., Ltd, Precise Mechanical Company 29 One-member Co., Ltd, creating the 110kV loop network within the area/region, contributing to improving stability and a safe, reliable operation for Tuyen Quang city's regional grid.
With the total investment of approximately VND 70 billion, the target of project is to build a new 110kV double-circuit line of 2.6km long and a 110kV Long Binh An Substation with 2 transformers. Currently, one 25 MVA - 110/35/22kV transformer, communication system, SCADA (connected to Northern Regional Load Dispatch Center) have been implemented.
Discussing about the project implementation process, Mr. Pham Van Quang - Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Power Company said, despite the extreme weather with constant rain (in November 2015, there were 13 heavy rain days), causing slippery roads and making it very difficult to perform leveling, hauling around 100,000 m3 of soil materials, excavating, casting nearly 2,000 concrete cubic meters, installing undreds of tons of equipment etc. However, with the highest spirit and determination, the project has been successfully completed, ensuring the requirements for energization with 120 days ahead the planned/ targeted schedule.
