Accordingly, to well prepare for APEC 2017, right since 2015, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), Da Nang Power Company Ltd. (PC Da Nang) have been performing a lot of critical power generation and network projects, with the total investment expenditure of up to VND 1,107 billion.
So far, one 220 kV network project, five 110 kV and two medium voltage network projects have been completed; the implementation of five 110 kV network projects and four high voltage network projects have been expedited .

At the meeting, Mr. Ngo Son Hai – Vice President of EVN – highly appreciated the preparatory activities of these subsidiaries during the past time. However, the EVN leader requested the subsidiaries not to be complacent.
The Vice President also requested the subsidiaries to accelerate their investment and construction projects to complete them on schedule; to prepare and make available emergency response plans; in coordination with the People’s Committee of Da Nang city to rehearse emergency response situations, etc.
On the same day, EVN’s Vice President inspected and worked on the electricity supply status for APEC 2017 at Da Nang Sun Peninsula Resort (Intercontinental Resort) – where the summit conference of APEC 2017 will be held including the opening and closing sessions.
APEC 2017 week is scheduled from November 5th – 11th, 2017, in which the most important event is the Summit Conference with the participation of leaders of 21 economies, APEC members, and thousands of formal delegates, foreign reporters, journalists and world leading businesses.
