Ho Chi Minh City: 97.97% of electricity service requests are received online

In August 2018, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) received 149,004 requests for electricity services, of which 145,978 requests were received online, accounting for 97.97%.

Also in the first 8 months of 2018, the customer care center 1900545454 received 1,152,691 calls in total and delivered sufficient information for customers. The Corporation sent over 20 million customer care messages.

In addition, EVNHCMC supplied electricity to 627 dedicated substations, the average handling duration was 3.45 days; of which customers invested in 243 substations, the average handling duration of the power industry was 2.6 days; the power industry invested in 384 substations, the average handling duration of the power industry was 3.99 days.

The Corporation managed more than 225,000 pledges with landlords on calculating electricity charge at the regulated tariff, enabling more than 1.5 million workers, students and employees who were house renters to use electricity at the right price as regulated, increasing more than 52 thousand people compared to the end of 2017.

In addition, EVNHCMC completed 16 grid-connected rooftop photovoltaic solar installations at headquarters of its member organizations. In Ho Chi Minh City alone, there were 608 customers installing grid connected rooftop PV solar systems with a total capacity of 6,376kWp.
