Bao Yen district is the area that suffered the most damage to people and property, the power system was also seriously damaged. To restore power quickly, Lao Cai PC mobilized pioneering teams from Van Ban Power Company, Muong Khuong Power Company, and High Voltage Enterprise in coordination with Bao Yen Power Company to handle the failures. By 1:00 p.m. on 21 September 2024, the power supply has been completed to all customers.
In the area managed by Bat Xat Power Company, Tung Chin 3 village, the last village of the Trinh Tuong commune was restored power, at 6:35 p.m. on 24 September 2024.
In Van Ban district, the last 55 households in Na Nheo village, Khanh Yen Ha commune also were restored power at 11:31 on 25 September 2024.
Recently, the circulation of storm No. 3 caused prolonged heavy rain, leading to flooding and landslides in many areas, disrupting the power system on a large scale. There are up to 140 distribution substations with power outages, directly affecting the lives of nearly 150,000 customers. PC Lao Cai units have not been afraid of hardship, working in difficult weather conditions to restore each affected power line and substation. It helps to restore power quickly to the people.
