On the side of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) was EVN’s Vice President Vo Quang Lam; Chairman of EVNHCMC’s Board of Directors Pham Quoc Bao; with leaders of EVNHCMC, the Southern Power Corporation, representatives of EVN’s and EVNHCMC’s professional departments.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Cao Anh Minh - General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Television shared that the Kilowatt television program will communicate to the young generation electricity saving solutions and disseminate a green lifestyle, thereby spreading to the community and families about electricity saving solutions.
Mr. Pham Quoc Bao - Chairman of EVNHCMC's Board of Directors said that electricity is essential energy for life and the development of the country. In the current context, using electricity safely, economically, and effectively is extremely urgent. The program Students joining hands to use electricity safely and economically - Kilowat is a new initiative between HTV and EVNHCMC to promote the communication of safe and economical use of electricity. Gameshow Kilowatt is not only a channel to convey knowledge about electrical safety, and energy saving, creatively and amusingly, but also a useful playground for generations of students to improve their knowledge.
Gameshow Kilowatt is for students in grades 8 and 9 with themes surrounding energy saving, electrical safety education, and green environmental development, to help students and viewers have both moments of relaxation and fun, and more knowledge about using electricity safely, effectively and economically. The program will have the participation of students from 24 secondary schools in the city.
Gameshow Kilowatt will be broadcast on HTV9 channel, every Sunday at 3:00 p.m., starting from April 28, 2024.
