This is an important power transmission project to fulfill the bilateral commitment between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Laos in the field of energy development and the implementation of the power purchase agreement signed between the two parties; It is also an urgent work that contributes to ensuring power supply for the country's socio-economic development, especially promptly to add power to the North in the hot summer days of 2022 and the following years.

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the 100-day emulation to complete energizing the Nam Mo 220kV transmission line (Laos) - Tuong Duong (section in the territory of Vietnam), Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Do Duc Hung called on all units to participate in the construction to fulfill their emulation commitments with the goal of completing energizing the Nam Mo - Tuong Duong 220kV transmission line on or ahead of schedule before 30 June 2022, ensuring safety, quality, in accordance with technical requirements and environmental sanitation.
Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Do Duc Hung assigned Power Project Management Board No.1 to chair and coordinate with units on the construction site to direct, organize, and urge the construction progress to ensure the energizing schedule for the committed works; report results and propose commendations to EVN and Vietnam Electricity Trade Union.

At the ceremony, Mr. Uong Quang Huy - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union launched the Joint Directive of the General Director of EVN and the Standing Board of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union on the emulation of completing the energizing works to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Laos People's Democratic Republic (5 September 1962 - 5 September 2022) and the 45th anniversary of the signing of bilateral relations between the two countries (19 July 1977- 19 July 2022).

Emulation CONTENTS
* Emulation goal: Creating an exciting atmosphere of competition so that the participating units can unite and work together to strive for excellent completion of the tasks, and at the same time ignite a sense of responsibility, the will to overcome difficulties, and the spirit of creative labor, determination to complete the energization of the Project on or ahead of schedule, 30 June 2022.
* Time to launch the emulation: Within a period of 100 days (from 23 March 2022 to 30 June 2022).
* Units participating in the emulation movement: Collectives and individuals participating in the construction of the Nam Mo 220kV transmission line (Laos) - Tuong Duong (section in the territory of Vietnam).
