More than 94% of EVN's customers pay electricity charges in non-cash form

In the first 6 months of 2023, 94.2% of EVN's customers made non-cash payments, equivalent to over 98% of electricity bills. This result shows EVN's efforts in propagating, mobilizing and creating many advantages for customers to easily use modern payment methods.

The rate of EVN’s customers making non-cash payments by the end of the second quarter of 2023 has increased by about 1.5% compared to that at the end of 2022 (reaching 92.7%).

Some units of EVN have very good performance such as Hanoi Power Corporation at about 99.9% of customers making non-cash payments; Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation also at over 99.8%; Central Power Corporation at nearly 99.3%, etc.

Currently, according to EVN's statistics, some modern payment methods are very popular with electricity customers such as:

Authorization for collection and payment (more than 43% of the electricity bills are collected by EVN in this form), e-wallets (more than 22%), automatic debt deduction (more than 14%), etc.

Non-cash payment customers are also provided with many other benefits by service providers such as Payment made anytime, anywhere with online payment methods; exact payment to odd amounts; fast performance; Save time and travel costs. In particular, non-cash payment ensures a safety factor; Avoiding the risk of dropping, losing cash, etc. For the automatic debit payment method, customers do not need to remember the monthly bill payment schedule; Don't worry about interruption of power supply and loss of electricity charge due to forgetting to pay the electricity bill.

In order to continue to attract customers to participate in the method pf non-cash electricity payment, EVN's units proactively cooperate with banks, e-wallets, and intermediary payment organizations to organize many preferential and promotional programs for customers. EVN also cooperates with partners to focus on developing the payment technology infrastructure platform, improving service processes, and creating good experiences for customers.
