More than VND2.8 billion support for collectives and individuals of EVN affected during the COVID-19 epidemic

The Vietnam Electricity Union has just issued Decision No. 221/QD/CDDVN dated 28 July 2021 on supporting VND2,815 billion for 14 collectives and 72 individuals in Vietnam Electricity (EVN) affected by complicated COVID-19 epidemic developments.

Staff and employees of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation are overcoming all difficulties and dangers to operate the power system safely and continuously amid the epidemic center.

Specifically, 14 units are supported by the Vietnam Electricity Union with an amount of VND2.45 billion, including Southern Power Corporation; Central Power Corporation; Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation; Power Generation Corporation 1; Power Generation Corporation 2; Power Generation Corporation 3; Thu Duc Thermal Power Company Limited; Power Engineering Consulting Joint-stock Company 2; Power Engineering Consulting Joint-stock Company 3; Power Projects Management Board 3; Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant; Tri An Hydropower Company; Ialy Hydropower Company; Se San Hydropower Development Company.

Besides, the Vietnam Electricity Union also supported 72 individuals of the units with an amount of VND365 million. In which, there were 47 staff and employees of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC); 19 staff and employees of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) and some remaining individuals of other units.

This is the second phase support by the Vietnam Electricity Union. Previously, on 13 July 2021, Vietnam Electricity Union decided to support VND1.1 billion for units in the 4th COVID-19 outbreak in 2021. The total amount in the two support phases is nearly VND4 billion.
