Thick snow and ice cover the top of Mau Son mountain (Loc Binh district, Lang Son province), on January 23rd.
As the weather continues to become worse and more snow and ice may appear, the Northern Power Corporation has directed its affiliated units to proactively inspect and respond to the problem to minimize the electrical incidents.
In a brief talk with us, Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh - Director of LSPC said that the Company has assigned staff to regularly check locations where snow and ice appear, to minimize the possibility of potential impact on the power grid. For many people and tourists, snow and ice is an amazing natural phenomenon. As for mountainous electricians, these harsh weather conditions increase the pressure on operational management.
Prolonged snowfall makes roads slippery and causes many difficulties for Loc Binh Electrical staff when inspecting the scene, however, they are still trying to overcome harsh weather conditions to ensure power supply in the locality.
