The North is experiencing the most extremely cold days of this winter. Snow and ice have appeared in Mau Son commune (Loc Binh district, Lang Son province). In the freezing cold, Loc Binh Electrical staff (belonging to Lang Son Power Company - LSPC)  took due care of each line route to minimize the impact of snow and ice on the power grid. As the weather continues to become worse and more snow and ice may appear, the Northern Power Corporation has directed its affiliated units to proactively inspect and respond to the problem to minimize the electrical incidents.

In a brief talk with us, Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh - Director of LSPC said that the Company has assigned staff to regularly check locations where snow and ice appear, to minimize the possibility of potential impact on the power grid. For many people and tourists, snow and ice is an amazing natural phenomenon. As for mountainous electricians, these harsh weather conditions increase the pressure on operational management.

Prolonged snowfall makes roads slippery and causes many difficulties for Loc Binh Electrical staff when inspecting the scene, however, they are still trying to overcome harsh weather conditions to ensure power supply in the locality.
